Information for Speakers

  • Please note that the time allocated for each speaker in the minisymposia is 20 minutes, including questions from the audience. The session chairs are asked to stringently follow the schedule to ensure the talks reliably begin at the scheduled time.
  • Please arrive timely at the session and, if possible, introduce yourself to the session chair so they can ensure all speakers are present.
  • Each room is equipped with a computer with standard software (Powerpoint, pdf viewer, etc.) installed. If necessary, you can use your own computer and connect via HDMI or VGA.
  • Please copy your presentation to the computer in your session room sometime before your session begins, and make sure the slides are displayed correctly. Alternatively, if you are using your own computer, you may test the connection before the session. Staff members will be available in the room or nearby to help with any technical difficulties.

Information for Participants Presenting a Poster

  • The size of your poster is recommended to be A0 (vertical).
  • Please bring your poster to the registration desk once you arrive at the conference. Our staff members will make sure it is displayed at the assigned location.

  • Note that there will be awards for the best three posters selected by a committee of referees. The awards will be announced during the conference dinner.
  • To facilitate the review process, we ask you to upload a pdf copy of your poster in the conftool (select 'Your Submissions' → 'Final Upload').
